Creating a Data Warehouse in SIGADW
Only administrators can create data warehouses |
After accessing SIGADW with the Administrator user of SIGADW, select New to create a new data warehouse.
After that, the following screen is displayed, where the items below must be entered:
| • | Name: a name that characterizes this data warehouse. |
| • | Description: a description for this DW. |
| • | Icon: choose of one the available icons for this DW. |
Click Send, and SIGADW goes to the Data Warehouse created.
With these steps, you create a Data Warehouse.
In the same database, you can create several Data Warehouses. |
From this, the creation of the model Star Schema starts inside SIGADW.
